How many indoor units can connect to one outdoor unit?
MRCOOL DIY 5th Gen Multi-Zone systems support between 2 and 6 indoor units. Olympus Multi-Zone systems support between 2 and 5 indoor units.
What happens if my total indoor capacity is too high?
The condenser may not support the configuration. Always verify that the connected indoor capacity falls within approved system limits.
Does climate or insulation affect sizing?
Yes. High ceilings, poor insulation, extreme climates, and heavy sun exposure can all increase heating and cooling requirements.
